You are really going to want to watch where you’re walking during this Halloween and every one after it! You may be quite used to saying this to your children but it might be advice that you forget to offer yourself. Remember, you don’t usually walk around the neighborhood in the dark with your kids, you don’t always go to parties wearing a costume that obscures your vision, etc. There are many factors that can lead to tripping, falling, and a dental emergency. Be careful, find a way to light your path, and you’ll be just fine.
There are things you know without a shadow of a doubt that you should not be eating because they can send you right into our practice for a dental emergency visit. We encourage you to avoid these things! Don’t let the lovely aura of Halloween trick you into believing these treats will magically not harm your smile this year. Instead, avoid them! Whether it’s candy with very hard nuts, something with a very stick outer coating, etc., find something easier on the teeth.
When, despite your very best attempts at being super careful, you still find yourself dealing with a dental emergency, remember to call our practice at (641) 628-1121, so we may schedule a visit for you right away!
If you require urgent attention for your smile, we invite you to call us when you need us! To learn more, schedule an appointment with your dentist by calling Allen & Neumann Family Dentistry in Pella, IA, today at (641) 628-1121.
