Dr. Denise Neumann was born and raised in Iowa Falls, Iowa. As a young adult, a family friend and dentist gave her the opportunity to work in his dental office during high school. This experience first introduced her to her lifelong passion for dentistry. Dr. Neumann attended Wartburg College and graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Biology in 1998. She then attended the University Of Iowa College Of Dentistry and earned a Doctorate of Dental Science degree in 2002.
Dr. Neumann has been an associate dentist since 2002 in Oskaloosa, Iowa and Knoxville, Iowa. Those experiences allowed her to increase her dental expertise. The time spent was invaluable for learning the methods of ensuring gentle patient care. When not seeing patients, Dr. Neumann serves as a dental consultant for Principal Financial Group in Des Moines, Iowa, allowing her to help with another aspect of the dental professional.
Dr. Neumann and her husband, David, moved to Oskaloosa, Iowa in 2002, following a career opportunity for her husband, David, at Cargill. David also has a degree from Wartburg College in Biology and Chemistry. He works in management at the Cargill plant in Eddyville, Iowa.The Neumann family moved to Pella in 2007. They have 2 children, Zack and Lizzie. The Neumann family feels blessed to live in an area that has many wonderful people and outdoor activities to enjoy. Dr. Neumann, her husband, and their children enjoy spending time together as a family. They like to go boating, vacationing, attending church functions, watching the Iowa Hawkeyes, and being involved in their children’s extracurricular activities.
Dr. Neumann is truly passionate about the dental profession and enjoys treating patients of all ages. Dr. Neumann continues to enhance her dental knowledge by completing continuing education classes in both esthetic dentistry and Invisalign.
