Autumn Adventures Hike at Lake Red Rock

As temperatures grow cooler and leaves change color, it is the perfect time for families to get outdoors and get their hearts pumping. Dr. Allen and Dr. Neumann provide top-notch family dentistry in Pella, IA. In today’s blog they share a family-friendly community event that celebrates natures and teaches kids about the plants and animals that thrive in the fall and winter.

October 18th Hike Begins at the North Overlook Beach

Find your way to the North Overlook Beach north end of the parking lot at 10am for an Autumn Adventure Hike at Lake Red Rock. Lake Red Rock is Iowa’s largest lake and a great spot for hiking, swimming, sailing, and various recreational activities. The Autumn Hike will focus on plants and animals that live during the cooler temperatures. Younger hikers will be pleased to view the newest features on the Playscape. This event is free and does not require an RSVP. For more information, call 641-628-8690.

Remember to Schedule Six-Month Cleaning By End of Year

Dr. Allen and Dr. Neumann endorse the American Dental Association’s recommendation to obtain dental cleanings every six months. Twice daily brushing, once daily flossing, and professional cleanings will reduce your chances of developing cavities and gum disease. So call our office now to schedule your cleaning because the end of the year spots fill up quickly.
