Preparing To Travel? Try Our Checklist.

Are you ready to pack your bags and get right on out of town this year for the holiday season? Whether traveling by plane, train, or automobile, you will find that there are certain areas of preparing that will always be necessary! As you pack up the essentials (and possibly some gifts), our dental practice encourages you to make a special oral health list to ensure you’re bringing everything you and your smile need!

#1: Write A List

We encourage you to write yourself a list. Yep, this is the first item on our checklist! Lists happen to be much more useful than you might imagine. Just think about it: If you have a list, every last item is remembered. You don’t forget a single thing! Without it, well … you might be mid-air on a flight only to realize that you forgot that one item you really require (and it just might be for your oral health).

#2: Bring Your Toothbrush, Toothpaste, And Floss

As you write your list, don’t forget the simple stuff. You’ll need your toothbrush and toothpaste, so you may brush your teeth. You’ll need your dental floss, too. Can you buy these oral health items in other places? Of course! However, why not make your trip a relaxing, easy one?

#3: Pack Any Treatment, Such As Sleep Apnea Care Or Invisalign

Don’t forget to add the big stuff to your list, too. These are the things you cannot run to a convenience store to replace, such as your dentures, your Invisalign treatment trays (which should be in your mouth!), or your sleep apnea appliance.

#4: Double Check Your List!

Check it again after you’ve checked it once!
